ART BALL V, Austin Museum of Art

To make ART BALL V a more unique, richer experience for patrons attending, Esther was commissioned to provide an environment with “Human Artworks”. Using local actors, Esther designed and produced an extremely successful mini play based on well known historical paintings. Upon entering the Grand Ballroom, museum patrons encountered a magical, candle lit world with stationery art works that slowly came to life. The Art Works morphed into the evenings entertainment in a delightful half hour performance involving Museum of Art “custodians”. The audience response to this event was tremendous, and museum administrators were deeply grateful. The evenings success made it a noteworthy event on the Austin cultural scene.
